For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are. Avoid Worldly Wisdom 18 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness”; [a] 20 and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.”[b] 21 Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours: 22 whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come—all are yours. 23 And you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.

And Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel Meholah you shall anoint as prophet in your place. 17 It shall be that whoever escapes the sword of Hazael, Jehu will kill; and whoever escapes the sword of Jehu, Elisha will kill. 18 Yet I have reserved seven thousand in Israel, all whose knees have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him.”

There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that. 17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death. Knowing the True—Rejecting the False     18 We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself,[d] and the wicked one does not touch him.  19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.  20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. 5 circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee;
6 concerning zeal, persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
7 But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ.
8 Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ
9 and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;
10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,
11 if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.

1 Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations.
 2 Before the mountains were brought forth,
         Or ever You had formed the earth and the world,
          Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.
          3 You turn man to destruction,
         And say, “Return, O children of men.”
 4 For a thousand years in Your sight
         Are like yesterday when it is past,
         And like a watch in the night.
 5 You carry them away like a flood;
          They are like a sleep.
          In the morning they are like grass which grows up:
 6 In the morning it flourishes and grows up;
          In the evening it is cut down and withers.
           7 For we have been consumed by Your anger,
         And by Your wrath we are terrified.
 8 You have set our iniquities before You,
          Our secret sins in the light of Your countenance.
 9 For all our days have passed away in Your wrath;
          We finish our years like a sigh.
 10 The days of our lives are seventy years;
         And if by reason of strength they are eighty years,
          Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow;
          For it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
 11 Who knows the power of Your anger?
          For as the fear of You, so is Your wrath.
 12 So teach us to number our days,
          That we may gain a heart of wisdom.
           13 Return, O LORD!
          How long?
          And have compassion on Your servants.
 14 Oh, satisfy us early with Your mercy,
          That we may rejoice and be glad all our days!
 15 Make us glad according to the days in which You have afflicted us,
          The years in which we have seen evil.
 16 Let Your work appear to Your servants,
         And Your glory to their children.
 17 And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us,
         And establish the work of our hands for us;
          Yes, establish the work of our hands.

Abundance

2Corinthians 9:6-15
6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 
7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 
8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 
9 As it is written:
    “ He has dispersed abroad, 
    He has given to the poor; 
    His righteousness endures forever.” 
10 Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, 
11 while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God. 
12 For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God, 
13 while, through the proof of this ministry, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal sharing with them and all men, 
14 and by their prayer for you, who long for you because of the exceeding grace of God in you. 
15 Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!

God is good

Psalm 119:65-72

65 You have dealt well with Your servant, O LORD, according to Your word.
66 Teach me good judgment and knowledge, For I believe Your commandments.
67 Before I was afflicted I went astray, But now I keep Your word.
68 You are good, and do good; Teach me Your statutes.
69 The proud have forged a lie against me, But I will keep Your precepts with my whole heart.
70 Their heart is as fat as grease, But I delight in Your law.
71 It is good for me that I have been afflicted, That I may learn Your statutes.
72 The law of Your mouth is better to me Than thousands of coins of gold and silver.
